The spring event Brda & Vino has a long tradition in Brda. While it was once primarily a wine event aimed at connoisseurs and wine lovers, in recent years the festival has expanded into something much more. It has advanced both in the wine and culinary fields and has become the largest one-gastronomy event in the area. Simple dishes have been replaced by original and refined plates that pair perfectly with top-quality Brda wines.

The heart of the event is the picturesque medieval village of Šmartno, located in the geographical center of Brda. On the streets of Šmartno, more than 30 local and guest restaurants will present their live cooking, and almost all Brda winemakers will showcase their wines.

Visitors can enjoy unlimited tastings of freshly prepared dishes by culinary masters in a pleasant atmosphere, pairing flavors with Brda wines. They can also visit the marketoffering a variety of culinary and craft products. At the stalls, visitors will find Brda honey, olive oil, dried fruit, teas, cheeses, cured meats, and other boutique products.

This year, we will also add guided wine tastings with various themes. These themes will be presented to you in advance. Although the workshops will be part of the event, prior registration will be required.

In addition, the program will be enriched with music and artistic touches, ensuring that the day spent with food, wine, and great company will be interesting, tasty, and unforgettable.

The price includes: unlimited tastings of wines and freshly prepared dishes, a rich program of street music and animations, a tasting glass with a bag.
